On behalf of Uganda Jubilee Network, I would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in the National Prayer and Fasting Season 2021 which will be launched on Wednesday 18th August 2021, virtually on Zoom platform because of the current Covid-19 situation.
Following the National Jubilee celebrations in 2012, a decision was made to observe the 50 days leading up to Independence Day annually as a season of prayer and fasting focusing on God’s purposes for our land. The main focus of this year’s prayer and fasting season is the Church, and theme scripture is Matthew 16:18, “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. We are inviting the Body of Christ to participate in this prayer season starting 19th August 2021 and ending 7th October 2021. There will be a concluding two-day E-Conference from 6th to 7th October, and a concluding virtual overnight to be held on the Independence Eve, 8th October 2021.
Like we have done before, we are seeking partnerships and networking. We request that you advertise the prayer season through church bulletins, social media groups, websites, and other platforms you have so that many people get involved.
Prayer times and platforms will be communicated. We look forward to your participation in this prayer investment for the future of God’s Kingdom in our land.
